Jason Marchment scored the game-winning goal against Stuart Skinner as the Dallas Stars defeated the Edmonton Oilers 4-1 in preseason action on Monday night. Marchment's goal came in the second period and gave the Stars a 2-0 lead. The Stars would go on to score two more goals in the third period to secure the victory.
Skinner made 26 saves for the Oilers, while Jake Oettinger made 23 saves for the Stars. The Stars will now head to Winnipeg to take on the Jets on Wednesday night in their final preseason game.
